Cherry Blossom season begins in Shinjuku, Tokyo, Japan

Tokyo, Japan. 24th March 2019. The Cherry Blossom, or Sakura, season has officially begun in Japan and crowds of locals and tourists alike flocked to the parks to photograph the early blossoms during the good weather of the first weekend. In Shinjuku Gyoen Park in Shinjuku, Tokyo, the areas around those trees already flowering were literally packed with people who were hard pushed to get a selfie without half a dozen other people in the picture
